Deus Ex and BMW have made an electric bike with a DJ console, but you can't buy it

The BMW CE 02 is a small, all-electric bike that looks like something between a scooter, a motorbike and an electric bike. And now it has been made even more unusual: BMW has teamed up with Australian workshop Deus Ex Machina to create a DJ version of the CE 02 - with speakers and a remote control.
Here's What We Know
Deus started out as a clothing brand, then moved into custom motorbikes, and is now actively moving into music and events under the Deus Records brand. And here's the result: a unique BMW Motorrad x Deus - a mobile DJ rig on two wheels. It has a new leather seat, four Marshall speakers and a folding DJ console for summer parties somewhere on the seafront.

You can't buy this bike, though. It was produced in a single copy and now it is taken around France, where it is shown in BMW dealerships and Deus Ex Machina boutiques. But perhaps it will inspire CE 02 owners to do their own custom projects.
The BMW CE 02 itself is an interesting machine. In the US, it costs from $7,599. Technically, it's an electric scooter, but in terms of fit it resembles a motorbike. There are two versions: 5 hp and 15 hp. The more powerful one has an acceleration to 48 km/h in 3 seconds and a top speed of 95 km/h. It runs on two batteries with a total capacity of 1.96 kWh, which gives up to 95 kilometres of travel. Fast charging allows it to top up from 0 to 80 per cent energy in 3 hours.
