He won't get fired for this: the son of Ubisoft's CEO leaked the release date of the first story add-on for Assassin's Creed Shadows

Ubisoft continues to work on the first Claws of Awaji story add-on for Assassin's Creed Shadows. Claws of Awaji for Assassin's Creed Shadows: Insider reveals release date for the Claws of Awaji add-on, it was known that its release was planned for September or October.
However, thanks to a curious act of the son of Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot, the exact date became known.
Here's What We Know
Charlie Guillemot, who is the head of Ubisoft's transformation committee in connection with the deal with Tencent, published a post in which he said that he visited Bordeaux, where he met with Ubisoft specialists, including the developers of Assassin's Creed Shadows and Claws of Awaji add-on, Ubisoft La Forge, Anvil engine and online services teams.
As a confirmation of his words, Charlie published a photo report and on one of the pictures you can see a shot of DLC Claws of Awaji presentation with the date - 6 October 2025. Apparently, this is the date on which the add-on will be released.




Recall, according to the plot of DLC Naoe and Yasuke will go to the mysterious island of Awaji to find the lost treasure. They will be hunted by Sanzoku Ippa and will have to fight for survival, avoiding deadly traps and ambushes set by their enemies.
Claws of Awaji will offer more than 10 hours of content, additional equipment items and several abilities. The main new addition will be a new weapon - the staff of Bo.
Everyone who pre-ordered Assassin's Creed Shadows will get the DLC for free.
