Sales of ROG Xbox Ally handheld consoles will start in October: insider reveals the price of new gaming gadgets from Asus and Microsoft
Authoritative insider eXtas1s, who often shares news about Microsoft's plans, has revealed the cost and launch date of ROG Xbox Ally handheld consoles, which are being developed by Asus together with the American corporation.

In his new video, eXtas1s shared an insight from two sources in retailers (apparently - European, as the price is specified in euros) that sales of the new handhelds will start in October, and pre-orders are planned to open in August.

- ROG Xbox Ally - €599;
- ROG Xbox Ally X - €899.

As a reminder, the devices will run on Windows 11 Home with a redesigned Xbox App that integrates the libraries of Steam, Epic Games Store, GoG, Ubisoft Connect, Battle.net and other platforms. The gadget can run games natively or in the cloud, as well as stream games from the Xbox Home console, and is positioned as a great buy for Game Pass subscribers.
Both models will get integration with the Copilot for Gaming AI assistant, while the older ROG Xbox Ally X model will offer Perfect for Game Pass: Microsoft and ASUS unveiled the ROG Xbox Ally handheld console.
