Last year, Chrysler showed the Halcyon concept. The futuristic four-door sedan was based on the production Dodge Charger EV and showcased the American brand's "future design language". And now it has emerged that the Halcyon could go into production as a replacement for the Chrysler 300.

Here's What We Know

Chrysler CEO Chris Feuell hinted in a conversation with the Detroit Free Press at a production version of the Halcyon. Or at least something "inspired" by the concept. Even more interestingly, the article notes that the production Halcyon could act as a replacement of sorts for the Chrysler 300 sedan, whose production was discontinued in 2023.

This coincides with rumours earlier this year that the Halcyon would spawn a production passenger car and SUV. Along with these two new vehicles, the Pacifica will also undergo a major refresh for the 2026 model year. An upgraded minivan can be expected to be seen in late 2025.

If the Halcyon goes into production, it will likely use the same platform as the Dodge Charger EV.

Specifications of the current Charger:

  • 400-volt electric architecture
  • A 100.5 kW⋅h battery pack
  • Power output of up to 670 horsepower
  • Torque 850 Nm
  • Range of the Scat Pack version: 260 miles on a single charge (418 kilometres).
  • Range of the base R/T version: 317 miles (510 kilometres).

No word yet on when the production version of the Chrysler Halcyon will be available. At best, it will happen in 2027.
