Samsung's Galaxy S22 line of smartphones have started receiving another security patch

Samsung has released a security update for the Galaxy S22 line of smartphones, which was previously released on the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S23.

The Korean company has changed its usual algorithm for releasing updates and started rolling out the patch from the US market.
Samsung Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus and Galaxy S22 Ultra have received a firmware patch that improves the security of the smartphones and closes several dozen vulnerabilities in Android and One UI. The patch is available on smartphones with catalogue numbers SM-S901U, SM-S906U and SM-S908U, the designation of the firmware itself is S90xUSQS8FYE4.
A similar patch will soon be released in Europe as well.
