Google prepares new Gemini design for tablets and foldable smartphones

Google is preparing an interface update for its important Gemini app to make it work better on tablets and foldable devices. Currently, the app uses an interface adapted for smartphones, which does not fully utilise the space of large screens.
Here's What We Know
By parsing the APK file of the latest Google beta version of the app (version 16.20.48.sa.arm64), experts have discovered that Gemini will soon have a new interface design that is better suited for large tablet screens and smartphones with a foldable display.
The main change is the addition of a side menu that can be expanded or hidden. This menu will allow you to quickly navigate to previous queries and conveniently manage the application without losing a lot of space for text.
Gemini's current look on tablets and foldable phones actually replicates the smartphone interface, which leads to inefficient use of the screen - a lot of free space is left empty. The new design will fix this situation.
So far, Google has not officially announced the date of the update, and possible design changes may still appear before the public release. We'll keep an eye on the news and let you know as soon as more information becomes available.
