Film company A24 and famous game designer Hideo Kojima are preparing to shoot a film adaptation of the famous video game Death Stranding.

About the film is known only that it " will not be a simple adaptation" and Media: the author of the successful film horror "A Quiet Place: Day One" became the director and screenwriter of the Death Stranding film adaptationMichael Sarnoski - the author of the successful film horror "A Quiet Place: Day One" (A Quiet Place: Day One). The authors have not yet revealed the cast, and most likely not even decided with him, but the main role is already a contender.

Here's What We Know

In the game in 2019, the role of protagonist Sam Bridges masterfully performed Norman Reedus - perfectly familiar to the public on the series "The Walking Dead" (The Walking Dead) and many other films. He managed to perfectly embody the image of an unconventional hero in Death Stranding and it's hard to imagine who could cope with this role better than Reedus.

The actor seems to be of the same opinion and when asked if he would like to do a film based on Death Stranding, he answered positively:

'By myself, I will do it if I get the opportunity. But I don't know the status of the film yet. It's kind of in sort of a very early stage of production right now? But yeah, I wouldn't mind doing the film adaptation.

Given that Reedus has a fairly friendly relationship with Kojima, who is the film's producer, there's little doubt that the Japanese would give the role to another actor.
