Rumour: the new Call of Duty part may open access to some modes only if you buy Battle Pass

Call of Duty 2025 may significantly change the approach to Battle Pass by making some of the limited time modes (LTMs) paid. Previously, such activities were available to all players, but now you will have to buy a Battle Pass for $20-30 to participate in them.
Here's What We Know
According to the insider TheGhostofHope, Activision and Treyarch plan to focus on seasonal limited modes in the new Call of Duty (often called Black Ops 7), but access to some of them will be available only to owners of the paid Battle Pass. This means that for the first time in the history of the series, some of the unique game content will be exclusive to those who have paid.
Thus, players who want to get the most cosmetics and participate in the most interesting events will have to buy a Battle Pass, not just play or buy individual packages.
This strategy is causing outrage among fans, as time-limited modes often become the main feature of seasons and attract new players. If the information is confirmed, Call of Duty 2025 may become the first game in the series where a part of the gameplay will be actually closed for those who are not ready to pay extra to the already high price of the game (the basic version is expected to cost $80).
It is worth noting that the current Battle Pass system in Call of Duty allows you to receive cosmetics and progress bonuses, but all the main modes remain free.
There are no official comments from Activision yet, but if the leak is confirmed, Call of Duty 2025 risks becoming the most scandalous part of the franchise in recent years.
