Google will no longer support Android 12 and Android 12L with security updates

It is reported that Google has officially stopped providing security updates for devices running Android 12 and Android 12L.
Here's What We Know
From April 2025, monthly security patches will only be available for Android 13 and newer versions of the operating system. Until now, the company had included Android 12 in the list of supported versions, but has now decided to focus on more modern platforms.
Samsung, which uses Google's security patches and adds its own patches, had already stopped supporting devices running Android 12 (One UI 4) and older versions some time ago. Currently, security updates are only available for devices with Android 13 (One UI 5) and newer versions. Thus, Google's changes will not affect users of Samsung devices.
Samsung has now started rolling out the April 2025 security patch for its smartphones and tablets, addressing 56 vulnerabilities.
