Audi stops production of Q8 e-tron and closes Brussels plant
Audi has officially announced that it will end production of the Q8 e-tron at its Brussels plant on 28 February. After that, the plant will be closed and about 3,000 workers will lose their jobs.
Here's What We Know
The decision to close the plant was made due to declining demand for the Q8 e-tron model and the plant's structural problems, including high logistics costs and the difficulty of upgrading due to its location near the city centre.

Unions and management have reached an agreement on a "social plan" to support laid-off workers. The plan includes additional bonuses based on length of service, special events for employees over 60, coaching services and job placement assistance.
